Once a month we have a combined service at St. George’s for our Church Family to worship together on the third Sunday of each month at 10 am.

The service is planned by our Spiritual Development/Pastoral Committee.

One of the rectors is present for the service and fellowship hour.

Sunday School and Nursery are held; children are encouraged to attend part of the worship service.

Emphasis on “contemporary”- BAS ~An opportunity to experiment: (More use of piano and other instruments drama Sunday School presentations and perhaps a liturgical dance? Guest soloists or groups? Handbells?

The choir sits in the nave of the church.

Pre-service hymn sings are featured with an opportunity to learn new hymns.

The gifts of bread and wine are carried to the altar by laity.

Outreach: Members are encouraged to bring items for the Food Bank and for Tearmann House on any Sunday; we will have a focus on the Food Bank and Tearmann House for our our third Sunday services.

Two individuals carry bags of food to the altar as part of our offering.

Primates World Relief and Development also receives a focus.

Each month we recognize Church Family members who have birthdays.

An opportunity to recognize the diverse talents that contribute to the life of our Church We recognize individuals and groups who add to the richness of our Church Family.

Evaluated on a regular basis.

The Fellowship hour is convened by: Cassie MacDonald, Susie Sangster, Brenda MacLaughlin and Neil Weber.
